WHY SHOULD YOU SUBMIT YOUR MUSIC HERE ?

We've been around for years and have proven we will stand the test of time, being established in February of 2006. The website is always pre paid well into future. We are here to stay. The netlabel Dramacore was made for people looking to download free music from all sorts of genre's like breakcore, idm, electro, chiptunes, noise, ambient and so on. Our goal is to support a diverse array of artists wanting to avoid the stupidity of corporations, mainstream propaganda, and trendy advertising filled sellout dating websites. We aren't trying to hop on the bandwagon and sellout to get a few more random listeners. Our label is here for those genuinely interested in these small music genre's and that's the type of listeners you will get from releasing music here. Made by musicians and artists for other musicians artists and fans of the weird alike!

Premium file hosting -
This isn't some weekend warrior hipster bullshit. We don't use unreliable free file hosting like many other sites to send out music.
We've never had website failures / downtime.

No corporate advertising -
There will never be any corporate advertising banners here.

Here to stay -
We've gone the extra mile so you can rest knowing this label wont suddenly vanish like so many others. Precautions have been taken to ensure that even worst case scenario, we would be back online within a few days or even a matter of hours. We value your artwork.

We promote your music -
Our albums are promoted through a variety of means. Word of mouth at local shows, fliers at local shows and stores, snail mail mailouts, various peer to peer programs are used to share, we seed your album on well known bit torrent trackers, we post updates regularly to over 20 forums / journal's / news sites, we've had various artist compilations that include something from all releases and will continue to do this and learn new ways to spread the news to people who are interested.

Basically we keep this boat floating no matter what and spread the word to relevant places without being shameless spammers.

 Keep music and art free!

DEMO SUBMISSION POLICY INFORMATION:

The ideal submission would be a zip or rar archive full of tracks, art, and info txt.

Then upload that zip to a free file host and email us with the link / quick description of your work.

1. Please avoid myspace links as submissions whenever possible. Take the time to give your ART what it deserves, make it a proper submission with the tracks and artwork in a zip file. Then upload to a free file host and submit the link. Seriously, we are not fans of dating websites around here. it's very hard to take art and music serious when it comes from a dating website owned by rupert murdoch.
2. We are looking for unique to this label submissions. that means your release should be intended FOR dramacore.com, and you wont be trying to release it on multiple netlabels after we have agreed to hosting it. Mainly this is because there's no reason to put an album on multiple labels. The only reason is for promotion, and we promote our albums for the artists.
3. When you submit, please type more than 1 or 2 sentences about your album / art. It's always nice to know more about the artist viewpoints and possibly what's used to make the music. Even general descriptions could help us out for things like artist pages etc.

4. If you submit something and do not get a response within 5 days please try submitting again, or send an email or two.  Sometimes we are busy robbing banks or planning elaborate crime waves and can be slowed down a bit. We listen to everything but can't always respond to submissions we don't release.  If you have submitted twice and haven't heard a reply from us within about 2 weeks we probably aren't going to release it. Please do not take offense if you don't get a reply within 2 weeks.  We get a fairly large amount of submissions and not everything is what we are looking for. Artists are always welcome to keep submitting new music until something is accepted.

5. Currently accepting submissions from ANY GENRE.  Hopefully you have listened to some of the releases already and that's what made you want to submit here!
We are very interested in submissions from these genre's especially:
idm, breakcore, chiptunes, 8-bit, electro, ambient, noise, speedcore, gabber, mashups, lofi, coldwave, digital punk, midi grind, digital hardcore, twee, shoegaze, experimental,
circuit bent, analog synthesizer work, self made instruments, noise rock, post rock,
avante garde, video game music,
glitch

6. Feel free to break these rules.

WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW MUSIC !
